While Necromancy is an Arcane art and Lida is a Spiritual magic-user, she deals with similar forces enough that what Arc's explaining to her sounds like it makes sense. Even between the two disciplines, there's enough similarities in the underlying theory that a practitioner of one can generally listen to a practitioner of the other explain something and be reasonably certain they're not just making shit up as they go.
